The Value of Partnership

The services and support that travel agents gain from working with these companies are great examples of partnership. Being supported, and knowing where to turn when you need help is essential, and we all need to work with partners we trust, and who care about us and our success.
There are many things to consider when finding the right fit in any business partnership. The partnership should always be mutually beneficial. Both you and your clients should be able to benefit from your partnerships though the industry connections, supplier contacts, and products offered to you. 

Your business style should complement that of your partners. Your strengths can make up for another’s weakness, and vice-versa. However, if personalities and work habits diverge too much, you may be better off going it alone or finding someone whose style is similar to yours. With regard to a host agency, you can choose one that has a strong corporate style, or maybe a smaller, more personal host agency would be a more comfortable fit for you.
And, finally, money matters! Make sure that entering any partnership will benefit you both. We all work to earn, so any partnership we are involved in should make financial sense and contribute to your bottom line, and definitely not take away from it.
