The carefully curated itinerary starts in Reykjavik with Iceland’s otherworldly volcanic landscapes, glaciers, waterfalls and geysers. Next morning the group arrives in Greenland to cruise through imposing icebergs, spot Humpback whales, enjoy a red-glowing sunset at midnight and have a rare, authentic experience with the Inuit – the indigenous people of the Arctic.

Next up, Sonora, Canada where a luxe hotel provides an ideal base to explore an ancient rainforest and wildlife, including eagles and bears. This is topped off with a heli ride atop a glacier paired with a glass of bubbly. Then, a visit to Anchorage, Alaska includes viewing grizzly bears fishing in the Katmai waterfalls; rafting the Upper Kenai River; panning for gold and all aboard the Pacific Railroad to cruise beneath majestic glaciers carving into the Seward Sound. Heading onward – that much awaited midnight toast over the North Pole!

Another treat: guests get to experience Svalbard – the most northern community on Earth, with its polar summer, coming alive with sea birds, spring flowers, arctic foxes and polar bears that adapt and survive on the edge of the world.

Onward to Northern Norway where explorers get a taste of nomadic culture, including folk traditions and seafood of the gods in the Arctic wilderness – with a visit to the Sami, cooking up a beach fire feast with the local delicacy, King Crab. Back to Reykjavik, for a walk on new land formed by last year’s volcanic eruption. Then, rest and rejuvenation in the healing mists of geothermal baths at the world-famous Blue Lagoon. The trip concludes with a festive farewell gala dinner at the renowned Arctic Explorers’ Club’s expedition lodge and luxury camp.
