Uniworld Boutique River Cruises Acquires Two new Ships

Uniworld Boutique River Cruises announces the addition of

two new Super Ships, the S.S. Victoria and S.S. Elisabeth, which will begin sailing in Europe in 2024 and 2025 respectively.

 

Identical sister ships, both can accommodate 110 guests in 55 luxurious suites and staterooms. All rooms have full-length windows directly in front of the king-sized beds for panoramic views of the passing scenery. Guests will find fine materials and finishes onboard, plus lavish features in select suite categories such as walk-in closets, fireplaces, and up to 759 square feet of space in a Uniworld-first two-bedroom accommodation with adjoining suites.

 

The S.S. Victoria will be the first to set sail at the start of the 2024 season, sailing a variety of itineraries currently operated. The ship will debut in March in Amsterdam onboard the 8-day ‘Holland & Belgium at Tulip Time’ cruise through Belgium and The Netherlands. Next, the S.S. Victoria will sail the 8-day ‘Castles Along the Rhine’ itinerary from Basel to Amsterdam, featuring fairytale-like towns, historic castles and fine winemaking traditions. The S.S. European Waterways’ New 2024/2025 Brochure
European Waterways has announced the availability of its new luxury hotel barge cruising brochure for the 2024/25 season. Celebrating 50 years as pioneers of inland waterways cruising, the company is marking this milestone with the introduction of a new vessel, Kir Royale, which will cruise the Champagne region of France starting May 2024. European Waterways is also expanding its private excursions and gastronomic experiences with such offerings as a tour and wine tasting with gourmet lunch at the Château de Paraza on the banks of the Canal du Midi, as well as a tour and whisky tasting at Ben Nevis Distillery, one of the oldest licensed distilleries in Scotland. MSC Cruises Announces Revised Itineraries
MSC Cruises has revised the East Mediterranean itineraries for MSC Sinfonia and MSC Musica in light of the geopolitical situation in Israel. MSC Sinfonia’s future eight 11-night voyages will see Haifa, Israel replaced by Istanbul, Turkey which also means Rhodes will be replaced by Piraeus, Greece and Izmir, Turkey will replace Limassol, Cyprus. Starting October 21, 2023, MSC Sinfonia’s new itinerary will be the Italian ports of Genoa, Civitavecchia and Messina followed by Piraeus, Izmir, Istanbul and Heraklion in Crete before the ship returns to Genoa, Italy.
MSC Musica’s future three 7-night voyages from Piraeus, Greece will see Haifa replaced by Rhodes on October 18 and 25, 2023 and Marmaris in Turkey on November 1, 2023.

 

They have also announced a new winter itinerary for MSC Orchestra, offering 7-night sailings in the Mediterranean. Between December 16, 2023 and April 19, 2024, MSC Orchestra will call in Valencia, Spain; Cagliari, Sardinia; Civitavecchia for Rome, Livorno for Pisa and Florence, Italy; Marseille, France; and Palma in Mallorca, Spain before returning to Valencia. SEA CLOUD SPIRIT CHARTS COURSE FOR WINTER 2023/24
Sea Cloud Cruises will deploy its newest ship, Sea Cloud Spirit, to the Caribbean, Central America and the Canary Islands during Winter 2023 and Spring 2024. Norwegian Cruise Line Returns to Asia
Norwegian Cruise Line is celebrating its long-awaited return to Asia as Norwegian Jewel set sail from Tokyo and commenced its extensive six-month season of voyages in the region. As the first ship in the NCL fleet to return to Asia in over three years, Norwegian Jewel will offer 16 immersive and port-rich itineraries, visiting 11 countries and sailing from nine different departure ports. The cruises range in length from 10 to 14 days.

 

NCL will have a record four ships deployed in the region during the 2024/25 season.
