Beaches Treasure Beach Village Ushers in a New Era for Family Luxury in Turks and Caicos
Beaches Resorts has officially opened
Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos, marking one of the most significant developments in the brand’s history and signaling the beginning of what company leadership is calling “Beaches 2.0.” The new US$150 million village expansion introduces a fresh vision for luxury family travel, blending expansive accommodations, elevated dining, innovative family experiences, and enhanced amenities designed to appeal to multi-generational travelers.
I had the opportunity to bring my family to the grand opening weekend including: my wife, daughter and her two kids ages 6-7. Seeing the property through the eyes of youth is a great way to judge a family all-inclusive and Beaches got a strong two thumbs up. While the whole resort is a wonderland for kids (and kids at heart) my grand kids especially gravitated to the waterpark, ice cream/pizza outlet and the beach. They also discovered Jamaican cuisine at the jerk truck.
Located along the world-famous Grace Bay Beach in Turks and Caicos, Treasure Beach Village represents the sixth village at Beaches Turks and Caicos and serves as the first phase of a broader US$1 billion investment strategy that will see the Beaches brand expand across the Caribbean in the coming years. During the grand opening celebration, Beaches Resorts Executive Chairman Adam Stewart described the project as a glimpse into the future of the brand.
“This weekend marks the first expression of Beaches Resorts’ US $1 billion investment in the future of the brand. Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos represents the next chapter for Beaches, and is part of a broader expansion that includes future resorts in Exuma, Barbados, Jamaica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It reflects our continued commitment to elevating the Beaches product, investing in the Caribbean, and creating even more opportunities for families to spend meaningful time together in this region.”
For travel advisors, the opening provides an important new selling opportunity in the increasingly competitive family luxury market, where demand for premium accommodations and experiential travel continues to grow.
Spacious Accommodations Designed for Modern Families
One of the defining features of Treasure Beach Village is its focus on larger, more luxurious accommodations. The new village includes 101 all-suite accommodations ranging from two-bedroom family suites to expansive four-bedroom villas designed for larger groups and multigenerational travelers.
Among the most impressive offerings are the CrystalSky Reserve Villas, three-story luxury residences featuring four bedrooms, private pools, rooftop decks, and accommodations for up to ten guests. These villas are aimed at affluent families seeking privacy and personalized service while still enjoying the amenities of a full-service all-inclusive resort.
The Chairman’s Penthouse Suite is another standout accommodation. Spanning two levels, the suite delivers panoramic ocean views, expansive living space, and upscale finishes that reflect the resort’s new luxury-forward direction.
The larger room configurations respond directly to the needs of today’s family travelers, many of whom are traveling with grandparents, extended family members, or multiple generations under one roof.
A Resort Within a Resort
At the heart of Treasure Beach Village is a spectacular 15,000-square-foot lagoon-style pool overlooking the turquoise waters of Grace Bay. The pool serves as the village’s centerpiece and is surrounded by family gathering spaces, relaxation areas, and entertainment venues.
The village adds significant new amenities to an already expansive resort that spans approximately 100 acres. With the addition of Treasure Beach Village, Beaches Turks and Caicos now offers one of the largest collections of included experiences and dining venues in the Caribbean all-inclusive sector.
Families can also enjoy the new Starfish Cinema, a 32-seat movie theater that provides a unique entertainment option for guests seeking a break from the beach and pool activities.
The emphasis throughout the village is on creating opportunities for meaningful family connections. Stewart noted that the design philosophy reflects a growing desire among travelers to disconnect from constant digital distractions and reconnect with one another.
“We’re living in a world of overload digitally,” Stewart explained. “Everything we’re designing here is to create memories and moments for families.”
Elevated Dining Expands the Beaches Experience
Treasure Beach Village introduces several new culinary concepts that further elevate the resort’s dining offerings.
Leading the additions is Pinta, the first food hall concept in the Beaches portfolio. The venue features multiple stations serving Mexican, Caribbean, Asian, and Italian cuisine, giving families greater flexibility and variety throughout their stay. Fresh tacos, handcrafted pizzas, dumplings, salads, and grab-and-go options make it particularly appealing for families with children and varying schedules.
Another major debut is Butch’s Island Chophouse, the first Beaches version of the popular restaurant concept named in honor of Beaches and Sandals founder Gordon “Butch” Stewart. The upscale dining venue combines premium steaks and seafood with Caribbean-inspired influences.
Additional new venues include Brü coffee bar and several casual beachside and poolside dining concepts. Together, the additions expand the resort’s already extensive restaurant collection to approximately 30 dining venues.
For travel advisors, the expanded culinary offerings provide another compelling selling point for clients seeking variety without leaving the resort.
A Star-Studded Grand Opening Celebration
The official opening weekend reflected the scale and ambition of the project. Beaches Resorts transformed the new village into a celebration venue that welcomed celebrities, dignitaries, travel industry leaders, media representatives, and VIP guests from around the world.
Guests arrived via the resort’s playful “Shellebrity” Pink Carpet, inspired by the blush tones found inside local conch shells. The festivities included a dramatic opening featuring a traditional conch blower, student performances, cultural presentations, and more than 170 performers throughout the evening.
Entertainment highlights included a 50-person Junkanoo procession, fire dancers, acrobats, tightrope performers, and appearances by the internationally recognized performance troupe Jonglissimo. The celebration concluded with a spectacular fireworks display over Grace Bay Beach and a headline performance by the American rock band American Authors.
Beyond the evening gala, guests participated in pickleball clinics with professional player Megan Fudge, mahjong events hosted by Kari Long of Mahj on the Beach, catamaran excursions, wellness sessions, and cultural activities highlighting the destination’s heritage.
Celebrity Guests Add Glamour to the Launch
The grand opening attracted an impressive roster of celebrity attendees, many of whom brought their families to experience the new village firsthand.
Among those attending were actors Chad Michael Murray, Taye Diggs, Jesse Eisenberg, Boris Kodjoe, Nicole Ari Parker, Dave Annable, Odette Annable, Melissa Roxburgh, Sasha Pieterse, Jamie Chung, Nico Tortorella, and Amanda Kloots. Television personalities Dorinda Medley, Kelly Bensimon, Ross Matthews, and Sam Champion also joined the festivities.
The event emphasized family experiences and community engagement. Several celebrity guests participated in activities supporting local schools through the Sandals Foundation, reinforcing Beaches Resorts’ longstanding commitment to Caribbean communities.
The presence of high-profile guests generated significant social media visibility for the resort and helped showcase the appeal of the new village to family travelers seeking luxury, entertainment, and meaningful experiences.
Honoring a Legacy While Looking Ahead
Throughout the celebration, Adam Stewart reflected on the influence of his late father, Gordon “Butch” Stewart, whose vision created both the Sandals and Beaches brands.
“He was a champion of believing in what is possible,” Stewart told guests. “The Caribbean dream, and believing in Caribbean tourism and Caribbean people more than anybody else that I know.”
The opening of Treasure Beach Village represents not only a tribute to that legacy but also a significant step forward for the Beaches brand. Stewart emphasized that the village is merely the beginning of a larger expansion strategy that includes future Beaches resorts in The Bahamas, Barbados, Jamaica, and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
During the celebration, Stewart encouraged guests and travel industry partners to look ahead to what is coming next.
“Put your seat belts on and watch the future,” he declared. “Welcome to Beaches 2.0.”
What It Means forTravel Advisors
For travel advisors, Treasure Beach Village arrives at a time when demand for premium family vacations remains exceptionally strong. The combination of spacious multi-bedroom accommodations, enhanced dining, luxury amenities, and comprehensive activities creates a compelling option for families seeking a high-end Caribbean getaway.
Equally important, Beaches Resorts continues to reaffirm its commitment to the travel advisor community. Stewart emphasized during the opening festivities that advisors remain central to the company’s growth strategy.
As Beaches enters its next phase of expansion, Treasure Beach Village offers advisors a fresh product to sell and a powerful example of how the family all-inclusive segment continues to evolve. For clients seeking luxury, convenience, and memorable family experiences in one of the Caribbean’s most celebrated beach destinations, the newest addition to Beaches Turks and Caicos is poised to become one of the region’s most sought-after vacation experiences.
