Jamaica’s Celebrates Top Producing Travel Advisors
The Jamaica Tourist Board (JTB) recently hosted its 10th annual
One Love Affair gala honoring its 50 top producing travel advisors. This year’s celebration took place from December 12 to 15, 2024, at the newly opened Princess Grand Jamaica and Princess Senses The Mangrove in Green Island, Hanover.
Jamaica puts a very high value on their dedicated travel specialists, who are responsible for generating a large portion of travel to Jamaica. In recognition of their contributions, Jamaica’s One Love Affair provides a complimentary trip including an awards ceremony annually for their 50 top-producing travel specialists.
The curated itinerary included a three-night stay and site tour of the brand-new Princess Grand Resort in Negril , excursions hosted by top island tour operators like Island Routes, and the culmination celebration “One Love Affair: An Eco-Chic Soiree.” This year, the celebration’s theme was sustainability, something that they keep hearing as being important to agents and their clients.
During the event, the JTB announced special booking incentives for travel advisors, offering discounts of up to 50% for bookings made by January 10, 2025, for travel through December 23, 2025. Additionally, a new loyalty program was introduced to reward advisors for their continued support.
The Prime Minister of Jamaica, Dr. Most Honorable Andrew Holness echoed his remarks made at the Jamaica Love Showcase (Oct. 2024) of upgrading infrastructure of “dual-carriage roadways” and new airports to better connect visitors to different parts of the island.
